Audit Report Gathering

July 21 @ 10:00 am 3:00 pm

To help churches that may not have staff or others available to conduct the local church internal audit required by August 1 each year, the Corridor District will hold an Audit Report Gathering on Tuesday, July 21, 10 am – 3 pm at Christ UMC in Chapel Hill. We will meet in building 105 across the street from the sanctuary. Please feel free to drop in at any time to get assistance with your audit. We encourage you to share this opportunity with your financial team, as we encourage each church to have two people attend. 

You will need to bring the following reports: 

  • Detailed General Ledger
  • Trial Balance
  • Profit and Loss Statement
  • If possible, please bring all invoices and contributions, as well as bank statements showing activity for March and November. We will be reconciling them with your General Ledger.
  • If you have one in place, bring your church’s financial policy and authority guidelines.
