This is a checklist of tasks, information lists, and helpful actions which you should complete before your moving day. This will help the new pastor to get his/her feet on the ground immediately and serve the congregation in a more adequate way than moving in uninformed. Your reimbursement check for moving expenses will not be issued until this form has been fully completed and submitted to the District Office. A copy will automatically be forwarded to the Assistant District Superintendent of your sending District. In addition, you should forward copies of this form (you’ll receive a complete copy via email when you submit it) along with any required lists or other documentation to:
- The incoming pastor
- The Chair of your sending church’s Pastor/Parish Relations Committee
- The Chair of your sending church’s Board of Trustees
